So as I promised (here you have it, Dennis) here you can download the contents we created:

Introduction to Managed DirectX with C# 2.0 - Slides
Demoscene-style demo with source code
DirectX demos used during the presentation

So... enjoy them, and remember you will need the DirectX SDK to run and compile the samples.

I've finished the translation of the presentation that Diego and I did last November in the first Madrid Codecamp. Diego already posted the official url where you could download the ppt, but it was in spanish... and I said before that I will upload it to this blog when translated, but due to work overload and other activities at the usergroup it was completely impossible to me. The main new feature is it native support for the .NET 2.0 CLR; eventhough I've already been playing with Visual C# Express and the August Update of DirectX and they seemed to feel comfortable one with each other.

I'll install this new release, and migrate my actual code for the Madrid Code Camp DirectX session to use this new release. Obviously I'll be providing the DirectX team the feedback they ask for; they deserve it for their hard work. I don't expect to have too much changes in my existing code, it's quite easy and simple yet.

Btw, I created a new category in my blog to support all the upcoming DirectX posts.
